Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation

The Erk Russell Fund is the lifeblood for Georgia Southern Athletics, helping to support scholarships for student-athletes in all 17 sports. By joining the Erk Russell Fund for as little as $60 annually or $5 monthly, you are helping to provide an education for many students who may not otherwise be able to afford the opportunity. 

We have set out on an ambitious #SoarToSix campaign to reach 6,000 members of the Erk Russell Fund by the year 2026. PLEASE NOTE: The deadline to join the Erk Russell Fund each year is June 30 and anyone joining after this date will be considered a member the following year. If you give any time before June 30, 2024 you will be a member for the 2024-2025 year as long as you have paid a total of $60 by the June 30 deadline. If you give in (or after) July of 2024 you will be a member for the 2025-2026 year.

TICKETS AND PARKING

Most tickets and parking throughout and around Paulson Stadium require minimum contribution levels. On the seating map below, you will find the contribution required for each seat before you can purchase the corresponding tickets. These contributions do qualify you for the benefits listed in the above chart and are counted as Erk Russell Fund donations. We have multiple club areas (Eagle Club, Stadium Club, Optim Zone at Bishop Club and Club Level), suites, cabanas and loges which you can find more details on by going to our Premium Seating page. Most of these areas are sold out and require additional major gifts to be able to purchase seating in those areas, if they do become available at any point. LIFETIME GIVING RANK

Lifetime giving provides an equitable method of allocating Athletic Foundation benefits that exist in limited quantities. The lifetime giving system’s purpose is to offer fair access to high-demand and low-supply benefits for our faithful Eagle supporters. Moving to a Lifetime Giving model will enable recognition of longtime and new supporters of Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation. This change provides further clarity to the ticket purchasing process given the IRS changes regarding priority points systems. The Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation will issue tax receipts based on current guidance and the deductibility remains in the control of the recipient. For tax-related questions, donors should seek answers from a licensed tax professional. The Georgia Southern University Athletic Department appreciates the support donors provide to the GSAF.

Lifetime giving is the total of all contributions (excluding planned gifts or donor events) made to the Athletic Foundation through your donor account.

Lifetime giving impacts benefits such as:

• ticket placement; 
• away game football tickets;
• bowl game tickets;
• season ticket upgrades;
• premium seating and suite options/waiting list placement;
• tickets to conference or NCAA championships and tournaments; and
• athletics’ special events.

How It Works

Athletic Foundation lifetime giving totals are not ‘cashed’ or ‘spent.’ They continue to accrue as you make additional donations to the Athletic Foundation. The system recognizes ongoing commitment to Georgia Southern Athletics. The higher your lifetime giving total, means improved access to exclusive items and events. Lifetime giving total and ranking are automatically updated in our database each time you make a donation to the Athletic Foundation.

It’s important to note:

• There are a variety of methods to make your gift. Donations may be paid with flexible options such as annual, quarterly or monthly payments. You may choose to pay via credit card, bank draft or payroll deduction (payroll deduction for Georgia Southern employees only).
